We are busy making changes at Bromley Central Library to offer you better service and more choice. In October 2008 we will be introducing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to allow you to issue and return your own books, music CDs and DVDs. We'll also be making improvements to the layout of the Central Library.
As a result there will be some disruption to services at the Central Library from 1 September 2008 for four weeks, including increased noise levels throughout the building. Subject to confirmation from our building contractors it may be necessary to close the entire Central Library building for a short period for construction work. Partial closure of the building will be necessary during September which will affect access to the Reference Library.
